Consolidated Abrasive

Consolidated abrasive is a tool with a certain shape and certain grinding ability made of abrasive (grinding material) and bonding agent.

Grinding wheel

A circularly fixed abrasive having a through hole in the center made of an abrasive and a binder resin or the like. The grinding wheel is the largest and the most widely used one. It can be coarsely ground, semi-finished and polished on the outer circle, inner circle, plane and various profiles of metal or non-metal workpieces. Fine grinding and grooving and cutting.

In many foreign product manuals, the grinding wheel refers to ceramic grinding wheels, resin grinding wheels, diamond grinding wheels, rubber grinding wheels and PVC grinding wheels for machine tools, tools, automobiles, ships, instrumentation, aerospace, furniture manufacturing, jewelry, leather and other industries. Wait. The cutting piece and the polishing piece belong to the resin grinding wheel, but the number is large, and it belongs to one class.

Cutting disc, polishing disc

The cutting disc and the polishing disc are a kind of resin grinding wheel which is made of a special fiber fabric as a reinforcing material, and has high tensile strength, impact resistance and bending strength, and is widely used for cutting and cutting of various metal and non-metal materials.

Uses: Used in the following materials or cutting metals: carbon steel, high speed steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, tool steel, cast iron, copper, cobalt, zinc, antimony. Non-metal: glass, ceramic, plastic, quartz, crystal, coral, gemstone, resistance, carbon, bakelite, shell.

Mounted Point

Mounted Point is a general term for small-sized shank grinding tools used in electric grinders, hanging grinders, and hand drills.

Many types include ceramic grinding heads, rubber grinding heads, diamond grinding heads, and abrasive cloth grinding heads. Ceramic grinding head: Granular sand (generally brown fused alumina, white steel jade, chrome corundum, silicon carbide) is sintered by a ceramic bond with a metal handle in the center. Mainly grinding various metals for grinding the inner wall of the hole and correcting the mold. Rubber Grinding Head: Finer-grained sand is combined with a rubber bond to polish the mold.

Oil stone, grindstone

Whetstone: A strip-shaped bonded abrasive made of abrasives and binders. The oil stone is usually lubricated when it is used, hence the name. Whetstone is generally used for hand grinding tools and parts, and can also be clamped on machine tools for honing and super finishing. There are two types of oil stones, artificial and natural. Artificial stone has two structural types due to the different abrasives used.

1 The baseless oil stone made of corundum or silicon carbide abrasive and binder can be divided into square, rectangular, triangular, knife-shaped (wedge), round and semi-circular oilstone according to its cross-sectional shape;

2 Basestone oil stone made of diamond or cubic boron nitride abrasive and binder, including rectangular, triangular and curved oilstone. Natural oil stone is made of natural quartzite with fine texture and grinding and polishing ability. It is suitable for manual precision grinding in the manufacturing industry of precision machinery, watches and tools. This refers to the first one.

There are generally six types of oilstone: green silicon carbide, white fused alumina, brown fused alumina, boron carbide, ruby (also known as sintered corundum) and natural jade.

Grinding segment

A block-shaped bonded abrasive made of abrasive and binder. Most of the grinding segments are made of corundum or silicon carbide abrasives and resin binders, and a small amount of ceramic or diamond bituminous binder is used. Usually, several grinding segments are fixed on the grinding wheel chuck and then assembled into a combination body. There is usually a certain interval between each segments to facilitate heat dissipation and chip removal. The grinding segment is mainly used for rough grinding of the large surface of the metal workpiece on the vertical shaft grinding machine, and also for polishing the stone and terrazzo floor. Because of the different clamping methods, the shape of the grinding segment is also different. According to the cross-sectional shape, it can be divided into a flat shape (rectangular shape), a fan shape, a flat convex shape, and a trapezoidal grinding segment.
