In the sourcing of brown fused aluminum oxide, it is often be hear that brown fused alumina has high toughness, high strength, good abrasiveness, pulverization resistance and not crack. As we also know the impurities of SiO2, Tio2, Fe2O3 are the main reasons that affect the smelting furnace process of brown fused aluminum oxide lumps. The carbon reduction process in bauxite is also process to eliminate the impurities in brown fused aluminum oxide production. During the smelting furnace of bauxite, the carbon reduction will also cause the loosing of Alumina reduction and generating of aluminium carbide. The generated aluminum carbide is the main factor that cause the pulverization of brown fused aluminum oxide. Therefor, only by eliminating the additional carbide, the produced brown fused aluminum oxide will be standardized.
