BROWN FUSED ALUMINA INTRODUCTION
Brown fused alumina, also known as carborundum, is made from bauxite and petroleum coke as raw material, melting in an electric arc furnace at a high temperature of 2200℃. It is a brown hexagonal crystal with a hardness of mosh 9.
Application
Brown fused alumina is called as the teeth of industry, it is widely used in refractory material, sandblasting, free grinding, resin abrasives, coated abrasives, waterjet cutting, water filtration and function filter, etc.
Brown fused alumina for lapping and polishing process.
Brown fused alumina for producing mold of precision casting.
